Chemistry is the study of composition, structure, and the properties of matter; and the changes it undergoes. This course focuses on the basic concepts of chemistry, emphasizing problem solving, quantitative measurement, and mathematical analysis. This course actively involves students through laboratory experiences, writing assignments, group work, and projects.
